HOW THE WORK MOVES

From incoming fax to review-ready information.

Keep the document, patient record and next action together instead of downloading, renaming and retyping.

  1. 01

    Receive and read

Mox identifies patient details, document type and relevant information in the incoming fax.

  2. 02

    Match and prepare

The likely patient and structured results are proposed. Unclear matches go to a staff review queue.

  3. 03

    Review and file

An authorized person confirms or corrects the proposal. The original fax stays available as evidence, with the action recorded.

BUILT INTO THE WORKFLOW

Send from the chart. Keep delivery in view.

Fax signed notes, referrals, records releases and orders without moving files into a separate portal. Delivery status stays connected to the document.

A staff member sends a clinical document from the chart and checks its delivery status

Lab reports

Prepare extracted values as reviewable results, with the source report available alongside them.

Referrals and payer responses

Keep referral details and prior-authorization responses with the correct patient and review workflow.

Orders and records requests

Send chart documents and follow their delivery history without keeping a separate fax log.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

A few useful answers.

Can we keep our existing fax number?

Yes. You can request a new dedicated number or have the Moxcares team coordinate porting your current clinic fax number.

Can staff send faxes from the patient chart?

Yes. Notes, referrals, records releases, orders and other chart documents can be sent without downloading them into a separate fax portal.

Does Mox automatically write fax information into the chart?

Mox prepares matches and structured proposals. Clinical information is not committed to the chart until an authorized person reviews and confirms it.

What happens when the patient match is uncertain?

The fax is placed in a review queue so staff can select or correct the patient before anything is filed.

Is the original fax preserved?

Yes. The original document remains available as source evidence alongside any approved structured result or chart entry.

Is Moxcares designed for HIPAA-compliant fax workflows?

Yes. Moxcares includes a BAA, encryption, role-based access and attributed audit logging. See our security architecture for the full details.
